DIFFERENT ENVIRONMENT

Ecology in Holland is very different from Spain. There, people are more careful than here with the environment.

At home they have two or three rubbish bins to separate the refuse which will later be collected and recycled. In the school I saw four or five students, who, after the break, collected all the papers and things that the other students had thrown in the playground.

Besides, there are many trees and in the streets there are some big baskets to put the leaves in. In this way the streets of Holland are very clean indeed. In the big cities like Amsterdam, cleanliness is enormous because the sweepers are always cleaning the streets, the big centres, squares...
I would like to see all the cities in the world as clean as the cities in Holland.

In Holland people take care of the environment.

The air is cleaner and
healthier than ours and his is because they use many systems to have a clean atmosphere.

They use bikes, trams and vehicles that don't need gas to move around. In Amsterdam, for example, people use the bike to go everywhere, and although it is a big city, that is not a problem because there are a lot of bicycle lanes.

We saw that in the streets there were a lot of some special baskets to put the leaves of the trees in them.

Perhaps the cities in the Netherlands are not as big as here and that makes the job of having a clean environment asier.
