BEAUTIFUL

Holland is a beautiful part of Europe where there are a lot of trees and fields.
Dutch people always look after the environment.

They do a lot of things to take care of the trees, pollution and ecology in general. They use a bike to move around, there aren't many cars and so there is less pollution.

They ride a bike to go to school, to meet friends, to go shopping. They only use a car when it rains. At school some students are responsible to clean the floor after the break there are a lot of waste paper basket.

Another example is the system they use with the waste: they separate organic and inorganic residues. In many houses this is carried out every day.

The Netherlands is a clean and ecological country that takes car of its nature. This can only be due to a good education at school as well as at home.

WEATHER

In Holland the weather was very cold and the day very short. There weren't any mountains but there were a lot of trees, tulips and prairies, where I saw many animals, for example: horses, cows, rabits, dogs, ducks...

The Dutch normally use a bicycle to move around the towns. There weren't many cars. At the outskirts of the towns there were some mills.

When we went to Amsterdam we could see channels between the houses and a lot of trams.
In the houses people separate rubbish in two groups: organic and inorganic.
